If you're here to learn more about me, I can tell you I've had an interesting career. I have a variety of interests that have led me down a few different paths. Life has taught me that a diverse, cumulative experience widens our perspective of the world, and leads to better-informed outcomes.
My passion will always be painting, and for a long time this was the career I pursued. I have a Masters in Fine Art, I've taught art classes, and I've sold work in galleries.
The ability to fully express yourself creatively is something I'll never take for granted, and I still paint today as a hobby.
I've worked as a general contractor providing home renovation services to clients. I've built home additions, sheds, kitchens, decks; you name it, I've probably done it.
My favourite aspect of this work was designing solutions for customers and seeing their delight when dreamed spaces became a reality. I've carried this with me into my current career.
I've combined my creativity, my desire to build satisfying environments, and my drive to delivery customers a positive experience into a UX design career.
My efforts are focused on building strong design teams that champion digital accessibility while delivering on company KPIs.
